Syngenta is a provider of agricultural science and technology, in particular seeds and pesticides, with its management headquarters in Basel, Switzerland and a USA headquarters here in the Triad of NC.
Greensboro has seen tremendous growth over the last decade and I have been able to partner with these great companies by providing a plethora of corporate and commercial photo needs. Micciche Corporate Photography celebrates 18 years serving the greater Triad are of North Carolina.
This blog article features Syngenta's topping off ceremony to celebrate the last structural beam going into place on their newest building for lab work and research. This project broke ground a few months ago and they are right on track for a ribbon cutting to take place in 2023.
The event began with some opening remarks from the CEO and we all watched the construction crew carefully hoist the final beam and screw it into place. I was able to take part in a safety training course a few weeks ago for the job site which allows me full access to the area and was then able to capture some much tighter angles of the install and surrounding areas for my client.
I used a traditional 24-70mm lens for some wider views and also had my 200mm telephoto lens to achieve a zoomed in perspective even though I was still many feet away from the crane.
After the topping off ceremony was complete and some formal photos were captured, the communications team and I walked the interior of the semi-finished selections to see the progress and capture some images for archiving purposes. I plan to provide monthly and or quarterly site visits to Syngenta and provide a "before and after" timeline of the building process.
I do this for a lot of my larger corporate photo clients as they love to have record of these important projects and milestones of their companies. I do provide the edited jpg images in high resolution format so they can use them for all internal and external marketing needs in print and web. I look forward to working with this great company in 2023 and thankful to the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce for the word of mouth referral they provided to Syngenta.
