I recently traveled to Malta, IL which is about two hours west of downtown Chicago for a special assignment with Syngenta. They have been a wonderful corporate client of Micciche Corporate Photography for about a year now. Check out my travels.
Syngenta is a global leader in the agricultural space promoting sustainability with a global HQ in Switzerland and a USA based HQ here in Greensboro, NC. I flew up to Chicago O'Hare in late June for a special tour and series of events for their new research center and roughly 100 acre farm, Syngenta Seeds Research & Innovation Center. This was for the Global Crop Protection President to share the facility with a select group.
I flew in on a Sunday and had a few hours to take a quick walking tour of downtown Chicago and was my first time in that amazing city. I then had to be onsite at the research farm for a sunset shoot to capture the building and surrounding areas and was gifted a beautiful sunset that evening. The communications team and I then were back on site the following morning to prep for the tour and capture a few more architecture and agricultural type images for their stock photo needs and social media PR.
We started the morning off with an outside tour of the farm and all the amazing things they are doing on property and also learned about new technology/app development for their agriculture customers.
We then continued on with a full tour of the research center which was incredible and beautifully built. My goal here was to be a fly on the wall and capture the interesting items on the tour and great candid expressions of the Global Crop Protection President Jeff Rowe, and the other attendee’s there that morning.
We concluded the photo project with with individual portraits of Jeff in the corn fields to show has passion and connection with the farm land as he and his family have been in the farming industry for many decades. The communications and marketing teams then used these marketing type images on their social media channels and other internal needs.
Micciche Corporate Photography celebrates 19 years in business this year and we continue to travel the USA for our corporate clients and love capturing so many different types of work each week.
